Deep in the heart of historic York you will find the infamous York Dungeon, the City’s ultimate alternative fun venue - a unique combination of real history, horror and humour. Part of the world famous Dungeons series of attractions, York Dungeon opened in 1986 and takes an eerie look back at the York of yesteryear, where highwaymen ruled and the plague claimed new victims every day. But what energies does the building itself hold? The venue is full of screams by day, everyday but is the building itself haunted or is it just full of residual energy from frightened visitors?
